Borough Market

I didn’t think I was a massive foodie until I visited the Borough Market, London’s most renowned food market.

There was fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish.

There were fresh juices, coffees, cakes and brownies.

There were olives, dips, spices and breads.

There was cider, beer, bars, and fresh punch.

There were cooks creating dishes in the biggest woks and pans I’d ever seen.

The market runs Thursdays 11am-5pm, Fridays 12pm-6pm, and Saturdays 8am-5pm, and the closest tube station is London Bridge.

If you are visiting Borough Market, don’t eat breakfast beforehand like we did. Rookie mistake! Save room for the free samples and indulge in the beautiful local food. Divine.
