One of the Busabout optional
excursions for Munich was a tour of Dachau Concentration Camp.
Dachau was opened in 1933 and
was the first concentration camp to be opened in Germany.
The tour was definitely
confronting; some parts were quite graphic, and overall heartbreaking.
If it is something you would
be interested in I would encourage you to do the tour. It can be difficult to
take in, but it is an important part of history to reflect upon.

We made our visit through
Gordon’s Tours, costing us €17 each. It left from the centre of
Munich, and lasted around 4-5 hours including travel.
